There were some really cool looking saunas out there that were very unique and very outside of the box. I wanted to share some of these I found to inspire anybody who may be building their own sauna or for those of you who just think their kind of cool.

This transparent sauna with its cube-like shape really makes for an interesting conversation piece and it looks really big inside as well. I'm sure this would take a huge heater to heat it!

I came across a lot of floating saunas out there but this one really stood out above the rest. It is modern, sleek and looks like tons of fun! I'm not sure that the little motor attached to it would move it very far though...
3. Dome Shaped Sauna

I found these dome-shaped saunas and thought that the entrances were really unique. I'm sure that the inside was pretty bland but I was really captivated by the look and feel of the entryway.
4. Cascading Saunas For Everyone!

This was a cool find that shows off some of the architecture that can be just as cool (if not cooler) than the sauna experience itself. If I remember correctly, this was designed by students too.

This is such a great idea! I actually had the though of making one of these myself and driving to the lake, just to see how many people would give it a shot. My guess would have to be the majority!

This is probably one of the most luxurious personal indoor saunas I have seen. There are clean lines, great natural colors shing off of the wood and beautiful lighting. It would almost be shameful to get it dirty...
7. Garden Saunas Are A Thing?

This sauna has a really unique design and would go perfectly out in the garden. The trees they use acting as posts on the front porch really make it blend in seamlessly with the space and actually adds a lot of character to the area.
8. A Portable Beach-side Sauna Experience

This converted horse trailer really struck my eye and would be a really cool site to see at any lake. The design is a little bit more plain Jane than the other trailer sauna we looked at but still different and has its own appeal, in its own kind of way.
9. A Van Sauna... Who Knew?

Now this isn't the most elegant looking song in the world but it is definitely portable and one-of-a-kind. You can convert a van into just about anything these days and as the picture shows, even a sauna!
10. Handmade Looking Sauna With Earthen Roof

The outside of this particular sonnet as a very distinct look to it and uses a lot of hand built materials to make it more rustic and earthy looking. The living roof on top is a nice addition to the overall look and feel.
11. A Street Car Sauna, Or A Train Car?

A train car conversion is also pretty unique and if you were ever to come across your own train car, this would be a really cool conversion to do. It would probably be an expensive project, using a train car but one-of-a-kind!
12. A Moped Trailer Sauna, Not Fancy But One Of A Kind!

Now this last sauna is definitely a portable model that was built by someone had a lot of ingenuity. Nothing fancy here, but the only one of its kind that I found so very unique and special in its own sense.
