Heatwavs Saunas were a pleasant surprise to come across during the research process. They combined a very fair price (lower than most other mfg.) but still had a great selection to choose from and were fully equipped and had very decent reviews to boot.
I decided to make a top 5 list of the top rated Heatwave Saunas out there and organized them accordingly. Nearly all of these are indoor models and use infrared heaters to power the sauna. Here is what I came up with...
The Monticello - 4 Person Carbon Heatwave Sauna...
The Monticello - 4 Person Carbon Heatwave Sauna is that rare sauna that's equipped with two stagecoach style benches.
The sauna's spacious layout can accommodate a total of four persons, two on each bench. The layout encourages socialization with both benches fronting each other. The use of premium grade solid Hemlock wood with a tongue and groove construction ensures durability and strength of the unit.
The sauna has 9 carbon heaters for better heating. The heaters are located evenly with one for each of the benches, two on the floor, two each on the side walls, and one on the back wall. Combined, these two, will cost around $140 as an add-on for other saunas but are included by default in this unit.

The HeatWave Coronado SA2406 2 person sauna utilizes 5 ceramic heaters to distribute heat. These ceramic heaters are located on the bench, side walls, and back wall emitting low levels of EMF for added safety.
Since this is a smaller unit, there's no need for any electrical upgrades or changes. The standard 120v/15amp power and plug are compatible with the majority of homes.
Heatwave didn't scrimp on features even for this 2-person sauna. Equipping it with a music player, backrests, towel hooks, magazine holder, and interior lighting are some of the enhancements geared to make your session more pleasurable. And for added health benefits, chromotherapy lighting is also included along with an oxygen ionizer which helps keep the air clean and fresh.
Like other Heatwave Saunas, the HeatWave Coronado SA2406 is covered with a 5-year warranty. To assemble the sauna, just prepare a screwdriver, a ladder, and ask for additional help from another adult to complete the setup more efficiently.
The Tucson By Heatwave Saunas:
The Tucson - 4 Person Carbon Corner Heatwave Sauna has 10 carbon heaters, and even for a 4-person sauna, that's one heater more than the average.
The left and right walls have three heaters each, one for each bench, and two on the floor for an equal and efficient heat distribution. The temperature can go as high as 141F delivering 2270 watts of heat.
The design is meant to fill the space on any corner of your home. And with its smooth sanded hemlock wood material, it will be a good enhancement to any room you decide to put it in. Just take note that the 120V/20amp power and non-standard plug may require additional electrical modifications.
Other features that would help in making your sauna session more enjoyable are the music player, ceiling vents to aid air circulation, towel hooks, magazine rack, four back rests, and a chromotherapy bulb to complement your mood.
